From safety and medical care to employment support and community involvement, we’re here to help each person thrive and reclaim their sense of purpose.

In My Father's House Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering displaced individuals by providing housing assistance, essential toiletries, and educational development resources. Our mission is to foster self-sufficiency and restore dignity to those in need, ensuring they have the support and tools necessary to build a stable and independent future.

Who We Serve

ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY & VETERANS

We proudly offer housing that provides comfort and support for those who have served in the military, ensuring a peaceful and respectful living environment.

INDEPENDENT SENIORS

On average, a semi-private room in an independent shared home in Maryland costs $3,400 per month, providing a secure and comfortable space for seniors that's affordable housing.

AGED OUT FOSTER CARE

We provide a secure, nurturing environment for young adults transitioning out of the foster care system, offering stability and support during this critical phase of their lives.

INDIVIDUALS IN RECOVERY & MENTAL HEALTH

Our drug-free and supportive homes offer a stable environment for individuals in recovery or those facing mental health challenges, promoting healing and community.

OUR 4 STEP PROCESS

Follow these simple steps to find your perfect living arrangement and become part of our community.

Step 1: Contact Us

Reach out to us by phone or email to inquire about our housing availability. Email is the preferred way to ensure a prompt response.

Step 2: Intake Interview

Submit the online intake form, and an intake specialist will contact you shortly (no application fee). We'll assess your specific needs and clarify any questions.

Step 3: Home Tour

Book a tour to see our clean, secure, and affordable home in person. This allows you to experience the environment firsthand.

Step 4: Placement

After approval, submit the first month's rent and a non-refundable community fee to reserve your room.
Complete the month-to-month housing agreement and sign all required documents.
